College Football Week Eight Picks

Florida State 28, Miami 13: If last week was any indication, Florida State appears even scarier after the loss to NCSU.

Kansas State 45, West Virginia 24: West Virginia looked lost against Texas Tech and likely will again against K-State.

Cincinnati 42, Toledo 31: Toledo has a fun offense but not enough defense to hang with the Bearcats, even at home.

Florida 14, South Carolina 10: The Gators are so tough to beat at “The Swamp.”

Michigan 21, Michigan State 3: If Denard Robinson can avoid turnovers, Michigan should win comfortably.

Texas Tech 37, TCU 21: Texas Tech may let their guard down after the big win, but I don’t see TCU exploiting it.

Texas A&M 24, LSU 14: I have a feeling LSU might be looking ahead to Alabama. A&M is too tough at home for LSU not to bring their A-game.

Clemson 33, Virginia Tech 27: If it were in Blacksburg I might have swung the other way, but the Tigers are incredibly good in Death Valley.

Northwestern 31, Nebraska 28: I went back and forth on this one. Ultimately, I have no faith in Nebraska’s defense.

Duke 34, North Carolina 24: How often is this rivalry relevant in football?
